Abstract: This research explores the impact of adult education on political awareness. The study aimed to investigate how adult education programs influence individuals' understanding of political processes and participation in political activities. The objectives were to assess the effectiveness of adult education in enhancing political knowledge, to evaluate its impact on political participation and engagement, and to identify educational strategies that effectively increase political awareness. A survey research design was utilized to collect data from adult learners participating in political education programs, allowing for a detailed analysis of the relationship between education and political awareness. A sample size of 300 adult learners engaged in political education was selected to provide a broad perspective. The purposive sampling technique was used to focus on individuals involved in political awareness programs. The case study focused on political education initiatives in Abuja, Nigeria. Findings indicated that adult education significantly improved political awareness and engagement, leading to increased participation in political processes. The study recommended enhancing political education curricula and increasing outreach efforts to further boost political awareness among adult learners.
